The campground sits in a hairpin turn, so it is surrounded by road, which means there's a lot of road noise.
Camping is first come first serve, so it's hard to get a site here. We arrived at 12:30 on a Sunday and were given 3 choices in sites that we could fit into. One, they warned us would be too sloped, the other might work and the 3rd was definitely level.
I picked the one that "might" work because it seemed more private. Once we got into the site we quickly realized we made a mistake, so I ran back to the check-in office as they gave away the one that was definitely level.
I spotted another site that would work and asked if we could have that one even though it wasn't on the list of ones we could choose from. They reluctantly gave it to us because they thought it was a couple feet shorter than our rig. I'm not sure what they're using to measure sites, but we could fit our rig, our truck and another car in our spot if we wanted.
Cell service is totally unstable here. It's fine if you're on vacation, but if you're trying to work - don't stay here. We have a Wilson Sleek Booster and even with that the signal kept dropping.
