All sites are small and level. We have a 22 foot campervan and I wouldn’t recommend anything longer. There is a max vehicle size restriction of 34 feet, but thats iffy to me. The vault toilets are next to site 8 and the water, no grooved connection to refill with. There is a boat launch and a trail head you share a parking lot w. The road in is full of potholes, so take it easy. Nice fire pits and picnic tables.

We managed to get a site for a whole week, its about dead center in the middle of Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore. Beware that only small campers or tents will work here. There are also restrictions on vehicle length. The road in is a 3 mile dirt road, and its 45 minutes to Munising, with only one other place about half way for supplies.
Our site was right on the water, and all but the middle sites are on the water. But its a bit deceptive since its a good 7 feet or so from the edge of the camp to the water down a very steep bank. There are trees all around the edge so you don't really get a good view of Little Beaver, but its so peaceful that's not much of an issue. Although it would have been nice to see the Loons, and not just hear them.
The park service cleaned the restrooms daily, their pit toilets, but by far the cleanest and best smelling pit toilets I've ever used. They have potable water as well, but the flow rate isn't very fast, about a gallon a minute and you have to hold a button down.
The camp ground is primitive, with generators allowed 8 to 8. I was able to get a full solar charge only twice, the rest of the time I ended up topping off the battery with the generator. The main issue is the number of trees. Some of the sites would likely have done all right, where I was at only had about 5 hours of direct sunlight. A longer wire to my solar panels would have helped, I only had 25'. Solar panels on the camper would have been useless in this spot, and for that matter in most of the camp sites.

As far as location and setting goes, this campground is a gem. Take a narrow, fairly steep dirt road down to reach this cozy campsite situated right alongside Little Beaver Lake. Certain sites have direct, walking access to the lake so any campers with canoes or kayaks should try and snag those sites. But with only 8 sites (one of them is intended for individuals with disabilities) they fill up quickly. We arrived early afternoon on a Tuesday in early June to find three to four sites open. By the same time the next day, all sites were taken. We used this campground as our base for exploring Pictured Rocks NLS, and it even has a few trailheads nearby. The campground is about 15-20 minutes away from scenic spots such as Miner's Falls, Miner's Castle, and Munising Falls. Overall this campsite is worth the trek although be warned sites fills up quickly so get there early in the week. Clean sites, semi-clean vault toilets, and friendly rangers.

No, I never got to stay here. Why? Because it only has 6 sites, which are ALWAYS (understandably) taken. Yet whenever I pass this campground on vacation, I always hope against hope that someone will be leaving and I could hurry up and grab a spot. Its a few miles down a beautiful, forested, cliff dirt road down to a little secret lake. All 6 sites are located on the lake. The bathrooms are immaculate. It's a rustic campground with only tent campers there. Its close driving distance to many waterfalls, and Lake Superiour beaches. Maybe one day, we'll get a campsite there. Until then, I'll drive by it and hope to catch someone packing up and leaving .....so I can grab their spot!
