Good Verizon cell coverage with internet access which would be good for remote working.

A barely passable place to spend the night. Easily the worst maintained Oregon State Park I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a lot. It’s a shame as the surrounding area is pretty and it’s nice and quiet.

First off we were a walk up with no reservations (online needs at least 24 hours advance). It's can only and you can pay at the entrance by envelope or check in with the hosts. We originally were going to just stay 2 nights and ended up staying 3 and would have loved to stay longer. It was a nice quiet location away from the highway but close enough to go see Mt St Helen and the Columbia River Gorge. Also, it was a perfect stop on our way to Astoria and Rt 101 when we left; just be careful for traffic on Rt 30 when taking that left. Our host, Jennifer, was super friendly, very accessible and accommodating. We like to search out the places that have the great prices and the hookups which is what matters to us. The park was clean and well kept and well worth the price charged. There were places for kids to play with large open fields if that interest you. There is a residence near the entrance that had some kids playing in their backyard that would get loud sometimes but the parents did try to quiet them as much as possible. The pavilion sometimes has local folks having a get together but we were out and about during the day anyway and it's on the other side of the park. We saw a 5th wheel come in to use the dump station so the place allows bigger rigs to get in and around. We stayed in spot 2 but I think spot 4 is a nice location with more room which is probably why it was booked up already. With all the trees and random spots it has a great feel... not like the places that are glorified parking lots. It is gravel and semi level but we used our blocks and didn't have any issues getting our travel trailer set up. Firewood is sold on site. We didn't use the bathrooms or showers but saw many other folks that were tent camping coming and going from them. We would definitely stay here again when in the area!

A solid, decent option to rest up and charge your batteries. Laundry and shopping in Longview across the river. About an hour’s drive from Portland. I was surprised to find this place relatively empty in mid-August.

Extremely good 5G/cell service, far faster than our home cable internet. Could be good for working remote.
We (family with 4 small kids) had a very pleasant time. Big fields and playgrounds mostly to ourselves, and cheap for having full hookups.

We stayed in the campground for 5 nights in Aug/Sep 2020. Used it as a staging ground for visiting Mt. St. Helens, Astoria and the NW Oregon coast, and Portland.
A wonderful little gem. The sites are large and spacious, lots of forest and tree cover, restrooms with hot water showers (a bit old, but welcomed the hot showers), and options for
Dry camping - $23/night
Water+Electric (30A) - $30/night
FHU - $33/night
Also have baseball fields, volleyball courts, horseshoes, a cabin, firewood, and picnic areas.
All in a very peaceful setting just outside of Longview for a great rate.

A very nice affordable wooden campground. A relaxing place to stay with a very kind attendant. They have water/electric sites available but they allowed us to boondock in a tent site which was great. Solar is tough but there are a few sites that have some open sky. The grounds are very clean. The bathrooms are dated but in good working order. The showers are push button with temperature regulation but the temperature is set to a nice level. The campground also has a small dumpsite.

Very nice little park. Can accomodate 40ft, but keep at the entrance to the left. You might have to unhook because of the trees. Shady, quite, very nice host. Loved it.
