We were impressed with how nice and well kept this park was especially since they were hit hard from the hurricanes last fall. The staff is very helpful and friendly- they love dogs! Our space was a nice, concrete spot with a grassy area and a palapa sitting & grilling area. We loved using the outside space for our dogs to sunbathe and for us to relax & grill. The beach access is really convenient. The only downfall to this park: some spaces are owned privately and the owners seem to think non-owners (aka “resort guests” such as us) are second class citizens. In the 12 days of staying there we got cold glares and unfriendly pass-bys from neighbors on both sides (both of whom own their spots). Funny thing is, we were approached by others “guests” who brought up the SAME grievance and that makes this park a little less attractive. Owners: your park is lovely, but your unfriendly attitudes won’t help your property value.

This is one of our favorite RV parks anywhere. I want to give it a bad review so that people will stay away. It feels like an undiscovered gem. This is one of our favorite RV parks anywhere. I want to give it a bad review so that people will stay away. It feels like an undiscovered gem.
The spots are privately owned, so the owners fix up them up in order to draw repeat customers. There are small ponds in the park, and a boardwalk to the Gulf. The spots are large, and with the ponds, it feels like you have way more space than you do. You can request a spot next to the pond, and I recommend you do (also, closer to the ocean).
Everyone, staff and customers alike, are very friendly. We made more friends here than we have in the last six months. The park is very quiet, people are extremely respectful. It is close to cute beach town of Port Aransas and its restaurants, and only about 20-25 minutes from the amenities of Corpus Christi. The pool is large and heated, and the hot tub is very nice.
You can have a beach cart delivered to your spot, and you can take it out on the boardwalk to the beach and drive into town, which is cart-friendly.
If you look at my others reviews, I rarely give a 5. A five means they do everything right, plus they have that something extra. Here they are able to not just offer a nice park (4 stars), but to create a community. They have regular events.
I saw another review that complained that they have rules -- but I think that's why it is so nice. It is owners who care about this place.

So I would love to give this place a 5. It's beautiful and very well kept. My family likes staying here. But they only allow 6 people per RV. I normally have my four kids 8,9,10,12 and my wife and I. So I would love to give this place a 5. It's beautiful and very well kept. My family likes staying here. But they only allow 6 people per RV. I normally have my four kids 8,9,10,12 and my wife and I. However in between my booking and my stay my wife's son came to live with us. I didn't even think a 7th would be an issue. They only list the max number under rules so it's not like you see it off the bat. My bad for not checking. I think it's really bad that they don't allow for bigger families. What's worse is how it was handled. I had a late arrival and when I was greeted I told them I had a seventh and was told "you better tell them not to come" I explained well they are here. The person said we'll check with management tomorrow. So the next day I went to the office and they not only said "I was lying about what was said to me cause I was mad" but that in the future I am out of luck if I bring seven. They said that the board made the rules. I asked for a contact for the board and when they meet and wasn't given it. They said other places in Port A do the same.. I couldn't find any that were 6. I offered to rent another pad but they said I have to have an RV on it. Money isn't the issue. They said that sewer and electricity were an issue. I even said I would not dump if that would help. Basically they don't want my business and don't want to change the rules or make an exception. My other son is autistic which makes it even worse. Because these sites are owned the management is like an HOA, so they really don't care if you stay or not. paid no matter what happens. So if you have more that 4 kids stay somewhere else. Very sad cause i really liked this place.

I try to start with 5 stars at the end of each review. I am work while I am traveling so I look at 5 main items, but there are others I don’t really review (laundry, bathrooms, etc.) as I have a Class A. Here are my thoughts in order:
WIFI: WIFI works great!
Location to outdoor activities:It is right on the beach...just take the new boardwalk and you are there! They also have a pool with adult hours.
Location to dinning: It's a little bit outside of town, but in 10 minutes you are right on the Warf.
Customer Service: -1 star. The only person who cared about customer service was the manager. The others were semi-rude.
Other: They have sites that have outside bars and grills!
Recommendation - These are technically rented sites from people who own them, so it is very clean and one of the nicest RV parks that I have EVER been to. It's a little pricey but if you take advantage of the amenities, it is well worth it.
