I pulled in based on reviews- found a great spot to curl up and sleep, but nighttime paving operations are happening now- loud and smelly of tar. Also- woke up coughing- semi parked next to me- his fumes and noise not fun to wake up next to.

Overall Rating
Iowa interstates have free dump stations (most, not all), which we appreciate. The cover was missing from this one, so they had a metal strap across the opening, which made dumping less than ideal. Probably for liability purposes. No hoses to rinse - you supply your own. But free. Free is good.

Very well maintained rest area. The bathrooms are clean, a really nice grassy area for your pups to do their business, and a nature trail loop in the back to stretch your legs. Also, the sunset was really nice. Even though there is a sign that says "no camping", the lady who works there says you are welcome to stay for 24 hours max. Th... more
Very well maintained rest area. The bathrooms are clean, a really nice grassy area for your pups to do their business, and a nature trail loop in the back to stretch your legs. Also, the sunset was really nice. Even though there is a sign that says "no camping", the lady who works there says you are welcome to stay for 24 hours max. They also have water spigots to fill up some jugs and a free dump station for your black/grey tanks.
