Can’t believe it was only $35. Very clean. We were in site D3. One of the circles. Easy in and super easy to back into spot. The circles have huge yard areas. Lots of grass. Nice little lake. We were next to the back shelter. Not only did it have large clean bathroom which had very private showers. The shelter has a large party room which has two floors and a large deck upstairs. It has a full kitchen you can also use. The rec room has a table top shuffle board, pool table, arcade video game and pinball machine. There is also a good size laundry room. The front shelter is not as nice, but has a small workout area.

We stayed here one night on our way home from Branson. The campground’s website said they only do reservations in advance, which maybe because they are not around much to help you. We got there about 7:00. The campground office is actually not on the campground, but “at the end of the bike trail” off the grounds. We got an email the day of our arrival, telling us our site number, and how to negotiate the campground to get to our site, which was fine. They are apparently open year-round, and have a lot of long-stay campers. The water hose bib at our site was broken, and when called the office, we got a message that the office was closed. No number to call for emergencies, etc. We left a message about the problem, and went out to eat. The owner called back after about an hour, saying her husband was gone, and asked if I had a channel wrench to replace the hose bib. I said yes, and she said she’d leave the replacement part on the step of our camper. I replaced the part when we got back (in the dark). I called her the next morning before we left, saying I had fixed it, thinking maybe she’d give me a discount. But no. Otherwise, the campground appeared clean and well-maintained. Nice buildings. Interesting stay.

We had concrete site with FHU. No table or fire but we didn’t mind for just couple nights.
Call to check in, office at the farm next door. Nice pond to enjoy, clean bathrooms and laundry. Some fitness machines also.
Nice long concrete bike trail you can access directly from the park. Close to town for shopping needs.
Cell service not the best and no WiFi. (at least from our site).

Called the day prior to make reservations over the phone. Took credit card information over the phone to reserve site. Credit card not charged until after check in. Upon arrival to park, called from cellphone and was given turn by turn directions to site. Streets in park are paved and plenty wide. Site was concrete with grass between sites and a decent amount of space. Also a gravel area next to road between concrete pads to park vehicles. Didn’t get information for wifi. Clean bathrooms, showers, laundry rooms, game room, and some workout equipment. Small pond located on property. Campground is close to a bike path. One of the nicest campgrounds I’ve ever stayed in for 30/night for full hook ups. 100% would stay here again if in the area. There was some train noise, but easily taken care of with a fan on the nightstand at bedtime.

Carole said to call when we arrived and she walked us through how to get to our site. Awesome paved pads. No picnic table or fire pit but the property makes up for it. $30 for full hook-ups was a steal! Lots of full-timers. Game room was nice and our kids even saw horses. We biked around the property and went fishing.
