We're never fans of your average private campground, but this one was different! Sites are private and very nicely spaced. So convenient to Stonington, Blue Hill and all the nearby towns and preserves. We loved the meadow (an open space with a picnic table) for the dogs and star gazing.

We did have truck problems and Troy gave me a reference that turned out just fine. It felt more like a state park campground instead of your typical RV park.
We really liked the location after the zoo near Arcadia.

This is a very nice campground that is well maintained with quiet and spacious sites. The campground is organized much more like a Forrest Service style campground with spacious and private camp sites. The owners are friendly and Troy was very helpful in making suggestions and providing information for our first visit to Maine. The location is ideal for exploring the coastal towns, beaches, and parks. It is about an hour and a half from Acadia National park with a very scenic drive to and from. The down side for our visit was that we came here a little late in the year and found many shops and restaurants closed for the season. We plan on returning to the Greenlaw's next year a when more things are open.

Tucked away in the woods of Maine, Greenlaw’s Campground is quite a find. Troy is welcoming and extremely accommodating, knowledgeable about the area, explaining places to hike, eat and sightsee. We enjoyed the area so much, we stayed an extra night. Stonington and the campground are delightful.

We loved this location and the campground. It is biking distance down to the docks where the lobster boats dock. The price of lobster was incredibly low. You pick your lobster right off of the docks each day. The tourist have not discovered this town yet which makes it lovely. It is a authentic lobstering town. There are a few very interesting restaurants tucked away but you have to hunt for them, Cockatoo Portuguese Restaurant ( loved it!) being one of them. The campground offers lobster pots so you will want to bring a burner. They also have a pickleball court and paddles. They have very nice, clean laundry and bathrooms/showers. The couple that own/run this campground are extremely helpful and pleasant. We will be back for sure but next time it will be for a full month.

We were in 6 A which had 50amp FHU, with a nice mix of shade and sun. There’s a clean little bath house with a washer and dryer. Just about a mile away is a small grocery and beautiful place called “sand beach”. The village has a couple restaurants, nice coffee shop, and not too far are some other very nice restaurants and places to get live lobster. Don’t miss Barred Preserve!

Highly Recommended!! Terrific Down East Maine experience. Greenlaw's is a great spot to launch your Down East adventures. We loved our level, roomy, heavily shaded campsite. This is not a large campground and it appears most sites are very private. The new owners (2 years- super friendly and accommodating) have made some significant improvements - the bath house is convenient, clean and very functional. The location is extremely convenient to Stonington (3 min) and Deer Isle (10 min). The grounds are heavily wooded, we saw many deer and a fox! I look forward to staying at Greenlaw's again. We camped at Greenlaw's RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer. You're in rural Maine, and the Verizon signal isn't the strongest - the owners have a great Wifi signal you can use near their work shed.

We are heading back there for a week this summer (2022) with friends to do some sea kayaking. This is a short drive to downtown and the town dock and boat ramp. If you want, you can talk to the owners about a shuttle service. We did not take advantage of that last year. It's about a 10 minute walk from the downtown parking area to the launch. Just drop your kayak off and go park. One of the best places to go sea kayaking. It can be very busy in the summer. There are also a couple kayak outfitters and guides in the area. The water up this way can be very cold so be sure to dress for immersion to be safe.
