Three OTA channels, decent cell reception and WiFi.

Spaces are level and flat. Staff friendly. Laundry is large and clean. Didn't check out bathrooms. There are no antenna channels but they have cable. WiFi is good. Very nice dog park.

Overnight stay. West Texas is HOT in Aug! While we usually just stay in a rest area or truckstop, we need to run some AC. Looked for a safe, clean place to overnight and hook-up to reliable 50amp power. Based on reviews, we picked this place, Fort Stockton RV Park. We were glad we did. We called ahead to make a same day reservation and they answered the phone immediately, took down our info and wrote us down. The office was open till 8:00, we got there around 5:oo. Very helpful and nice staff. There is a section with longer term folks, but the section with more trees, shade and grass is for us transients. There are a lot of pull-through sites, more than enough room for our 35' MH and toad. We did not unhook. The sites are gravel, level, with a concrete patio and picnic table. Trees are tall enough to cast some shade in the later afternoon. Electricity was steady and reliable, both ACs ran most all evening and night. Did not hook up water or sewer, but had both at site with convenient location. We were in one of the front row spots. Very convenient for our early morning departure. Was kind of worried about road noise and dust. There was none. The WiFi was as good or better than any we have ever used at an RV park. Good Verizon coverage as well. There is a nice, clean pool to cool off in and a nice big dog run. Get off I-10 on Exit 264 and follow the signs. We will use this every time we need to overnight along I-10.

Good space between our site 48A which enabled us to pull straight ahead onto side road leading back to interstate. Got in about 5:30pm and ordered takeaway from campgrounds diner (RoadRunner Cafe). Had Chicken Fried Steak, very good. Check-in staff and diner staff friendly. Looked like pool was enjoyed by kids. Didn’t use shower/toilet facilities, can’t say about those conditions. Had a nice breeze that evening. Checked out next day after eating good breakfast from cafe. Didn’t hear any noise at our site.

This was my first visit to a private RV Park, and I only did it because it was Easter weekend and parks were full. I’m using the laundry now ($1.25 wash, $2.00 dry), and it’s fine. There is a nice pool and many children at play. The few trees do their best, but it’s hopeless in the hot Texas sun, but using the 30amp for A/C is a luxury for me. The price is too steep for me to stay more than one night ($38 for my camper van).

There's a 1.6 mile 'trail' that passes a dump site (note to park, clean that up please). However, the pet cemetery near the end of the trail worth the walk. Overall, a nice place to overnight with the cafe a big bonus. Note: Heading west from I20 we decided to take a back road (1053) South to Fort Stockton. We have officially labeled it 'the ugliest road in America'.
