The park is about an hour from Fargo. GPS instructions can be misleading getting to it but there was good signage for arriving via the town of Fort Ransom. The few towns in the area are very small. There aren’t a lot of camp sites there but the ones they do have are mostly long pull throughs that will accommodate even the largest rigs.... more
The park is about an hour from Fargo. GPS instructions can be misleading getting to it but there was good signage for arriving via the town of Fort Ransom. The few towns in the area are very small. There aren’t a lot of camp sites there but the ones they do have are mostly long pull throughs that will accommodate even the largest rigs. The sites are all nicely spaced and they get few campers during the week so when we were there the campground was very quiet with only six other camp sites being used. The campground was well maintained and clean. There were many mowed trails and a kayak launch on the river. Cell service was excellent.
