Enclosed pet areas are dirt, weeds full of dog poop. Rate posted is with discount and taxes.

We stayed two weeks at this park and will come back. It is an affordable, well kept park with a good shower house, playground and walking paths. It is right next to Fort Caspar, which means you are probably camping right where Oregon Trail settlers camped so many years ago.

Despite the dead raccoon on the way in, our stay was quite pleasant. Not a far drive from the interstate and has ample room for many RVs. Staff was super helpful and accommodating.
Pro:
-Offers bathrooms and showers with your stay.
-Nearby walking paths for you and or your dog(s) to roam around the fort.
-Children’s playground had many structures to entertain kids.
-Many grounds people take care of the lawns and general area.
-Close proximity to the fairgrounds for rodeos and livestock-related events.
Meh:
-Wild turkey and peacock roam the area due to the staff feeding them peanut shells.
-Many long term residents with ‘interesting’ RV set ups.
Con:
-Bathroom/washroom doesn’t have doors for privacy (besides the main doorway into the structure). Only has curtains to block you from others.
-Loud vehicles in the evening from long term residents.
Didn’t try out the laundry or other services due to short stay and only utilized electricity for lower rate due to aforementioned short stay. Starlink had slow speeds there despite clear view of the sky (could be due to deprioritization or just an unlucky night of poor coverage from satellites).

We were here last on October of 2019. We would not be here now had we not encountered a severe wind storm and needed a safe port. Access to the park was easy with good signage. There is pavement up until you arrive at the park. Park roads are dirt/gravel and still have lots of potholes and puddles. Not much different that four years ago. Check in was quick, pleasant and informative which was quite a bit different from our last visit.
Again, we requested a Power only site and that's all we paid for. All sites are FHU. We only needed and wanted the electric so that's all we used. Our site, F83, as well as all the rest, was a small space in big gravel parking lot. It came with a table but no fire pit or patio. There is a cable connection but there is no cable. We did find a number of OTA channels. Wifi is only available near the office. We did not use the washrooms nor did we bother to check on them. It was too windy to venture about. There are no restaurants or services within easy walking distance. A shopping center is a few blocks away. We paid $32.00 (28.51plus tax) We feel that we received very good value this time. We would stay here again if we were caught in another wind storm but otherwise we would look elsewhere. The camping area is too dreary and depressing. There is no attempt to beautify it at all. We camped at Fort Caspar Campground in a Motorhome.

We spent a few nights here while visiting our daughter. We slept here, but spent our days outside of the campground. The staff were friendly and helpful, but basically its a parking lot with hookups, and bathroom/laundry facilities, along with many permanent residents. Campers are parked literally like a parking lot with just a few feet between sites, no vegetation, no fire pits, no tables. The convenience of electrical, water and sewer and a place to park and sleep is what we needed, so it was fine. It has a small playground, and I believe a walking path.

This campground is conveniently located in central Casper, not far from the fair grounds and shopping. It's a short walk to the North Platte River. Keep in mind that this is more a campground and not a resort.
Nights were very quiet. Our site was paved with gravel. We travel in a class-A motor home and are pretty much self contained; so I can't really comment on the quality of the park's amenities. The office staff was nice and cordial to us when checking in.
I would definitely stay here again.
