Every summer I'd swing through here while touring around to visit family pulling my travel trailer.
It was complimentary to park here next to the BSA park and monument, but no longer.
Unfortunate for everyone traveling.
Spirit Mountain , up the mountain, is no longer an option either.

Overall Rating
Cost now is $45: 2 night rv stay includes one admission. A second admission must be purchased($35) if you’re a couple. Doesn’t look like it’s part of harvest host anymore. Not a value at $70 for one night with no hook ups.

We needed an extra night in McMinnville and Evergreen was a perfect solution. $40 for overnight which included admission to the museum for one person. Great value! We needed an extra night in McMinnville and Evergreen was a perfect solution. $40 for overnight which included admission to the museum for one person. Great value! There was a car race meet on while we were there which meant the usual part of the parking lot used for overnighting was coned off, so we found a spot between the museum and the water park. It was quiet overnight, just a few other RVs, but it got noisy early (6:30am) when the car racing participants started showing up. No big deal though, they were there to have fun. Would recommend Evergreen as an easy and comfortable option when you’re in a pinch!

Our stay here was great. Only 2 RV’s in the huge parking area so it was very quiet. There are no hookups, including 120v outlets in the shrubs or on parking lot lights. You can run your generator if needed though. The lot is nice and level, and all paved.
Individual tickets to get in the museum are $25 and totally worth it. So many aircraft in two separate buildings. There is also a theater and next door a water park. The water park charges a separate fee for use there.

We used HarvestHost and received the $0 parking for 2 nights without the usual $15 per night fee. It's a big parking lot towards the back of the Museum. It is fairly level and clean. We used HarvestHost and received the $0 parking for 2 nights without the usual $15 per night fee. It's a big parking lot towards the back of the Museum. It is fairly level and clean. Visit the Museum! It's excellent, with the huge Spruce Goose on display. The SR-71 in the space building has the engine bay open and various navigation and camera pods on display.
Through the Boy Scouts arch, there is a big figure or 8 walking path, which the dogs loved.
We will definitely keep this place in mind when passing through the area. As full-timers, we find it handy to have somewhere to hang out on a holiday weekend when the campgrounds are frantic.
Internet on a 5G T-mobile phone was 111/36 mbps. Having dinner in Mcminnville it was 655/58 mbps (the 655 is not a typo!).

The museum itself is fantastic; we are local to the area so didn’t visit this time, but we have always enjoyed our visits! There is a ton of space and some shade later in the day on one side of the lot. We saw 5-6 different RVs come and go while we were there.

This is the well kept, paved overflow parking area toward the back of the main parking lot. Easy in and out without any assigned spots. This is the well kept, paved overflow parking area toward the back of the main parking lot. Easy in and out without any assigned spots. We didn’t notice any type of security patrol but I suspect there is due to the jets and planes parked on the property. Check-in with the cashier at the ticket desk inside the museum. The sign says $15 and they ask for just your name and a phone number. We requested just 1 night, but the lady handed us a pass with the dates already filled in for 2 nights. We paid for our museum entry at the same time so it’s very easy. There is a nice walking path behind the property, thru the archway, and we saw several locals drive in and park to use the path, too. After the museum closed we visited the Old Town area of McMinnville and would enjoy doing this again.

We loved our stay at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum - the staff and volunteers are super friendly and accommodating! They were having an RV show until the end of the month and closed off overnight RV parking. Had to drive to another town to find a place to stay. :(
