We were traveling through the area so we stayed just one night. The CG is large and clean. It’s easy to navigate to the CG from interstate 81; signage is adequate. The staff was warm and welcoming. The bathhouse near our campsite was clean and was fairly good-sized (multiple showers and stalls). Our site was partially shaded, and not level either front to back or side to side. We were able to get leveled up fairly well using leveling blocks. Our site had full hookups. Big rigs would generally be fine here, but talk with the staff to ensure you get into a spot that’s truly appropriate for your rig. The campsites are terraced, so that’s something to plan for. Bring your bug spray; the mosquitos and gnats were rough in the afternoon and evening. We were in the CG on a weeknight so it was quiet. There were a number of long-term campers there and they buzzed in and out regularly. Although we didn’t use them, the laundry facilities seemed adequate and they had plenty of machines. If you can make time on your trip, we understand Endless Caverns would be a nice sidetrip. If you stay at the Endless Caverns CG, you get a discount on caverns tickets. The New Market area (and the Shenandoah Valley) are lovely and have a lot of historical significance in our country’s history. Verizon signal was low to moderate.

We stayed early July 2022. The campground is pretty big, but we felt like we had plenty of space in our campsite. We initially used this location as a home base to explore Shenandoah National Park, because we needed cell service and there isn’t really much closer with a strong signal. However, we ended up loving the park itself! There’s a fantastic cave tour into Endless Caverns, a gorgeous cavern system, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour.
Verizon speeds- 21.5Mbps download and 9.58Mbps upload when tested with a booster. We also used AT&T. Grocery shopping was available in nearby Harrisonburg for pretty much any big box store and there was a small laundromat at the campground.

We arrived after our 2 Hour drive with easy check in! We were escorted to our site which was nice, set up and had dinner. We had a full hook up pull thru site which was delightful, off to itself and plenty of trees. The fire pit was well made, deep & clean. The only issue I had was there wasn’t any cable or wifi as advertised. We got up the second day and decided to adventure down to the store and take a look at what gives this place it’s name, the “endless cavern” campers get a discount, for $20 adults can go and have a 75 minute tour of the hidden gem that lies below the campground. Light sweatshirts are highly recommended when they say its gonna be chilly they aren’t kidding! After the caverns we drove around 20 minutes to Cooters Garage in Luray. If you’re a Dukes of Hazzard fan this is a stop for you LOTS of memorabilia. After there we drove another 15 minutes to Skyview Dr, in Shenandoah National Park. For a 7 day pass its 30$ per vehicle, other than that its 15$ per person I HIGHLY recommend doing this while you’re in the area. Breathtaking views! Later on in the evening we came back and got in the pool the water was warm like bath water seeing it is almost august. There really isn’t no specific closing time for the pool posted any where. The morning we went to pack up we didn’t have any water & turns out no one did. 😅.

It easily accommodated our 35' 5th wheel, our truck as well as a 2nd car from visiting family. The staff is very friendly and the location is stunning.
We have a Pepwave Max Transit Duo for AT&T and Verizon service. AT&T had download speeds of 18.06 and upload speeds of 18.50. Verizon was 0.35 for downloads and 5.97 for uploads. Our Mifi with T-Mobile had download speeds of 8.03 and uploads of 1.21. AT&T was the only service reliable enough to accommode my Zoom work meetings.

If you are here during the summer time, I highly recommend seeing if the local summer collegiate baseball team, The New Market Rebels, are playing as it “True Americana”. Stop over at Pack’s Frozen Custard as well!
Pros:
The site itself was very large and well maintained.
Great water pressure.
Great sewer hookup.
Cons:
Since I work remotely, I chose site E3 with the hope that it would have the best wifi with its proximity to the bath house as a back up to my internet but the wifi really only works if you sit at the bath house.
Site E3 is one of the very few that still have old plug ins making it almost impossible to use a surge protector. I had to use a bungee cord to keep my surge protector plugged which I did not love.
There tends to me a constant cloud of dust due to the gravel roads.
I use T-Mobile home internet and had no troubles with video calls and work until Thursday and Friday when the park began to fill up a lot more and I noticed both internet and cell for T-Mobile slowed down.

Friendly, easy check in. Disappointed in our first site E21 as the fire pit and table were right next to the neighbor trailer. They graciously allowed us to switch to a more private site B14 which we loved. Location a little far from Shenandoah National Park. 1 hour but campground was great. Loved the full hookup and clean showers.

Each site was unique and very good sized. But it was on the side of a hill with trees, plantings and dirt roads. They escort you to your site and assist you in getting in... very nice people. I wish we could have stayed longer and just relaxed in a very quiet peaceful site. We'll be back. Internet was "Ify" but I think that was a good thing.

Given we are new to this, I didn't want a tricky up hill site to back into. We were on C-13 with a patch of woods in front of us. It was a great site and easy in, easy out. We had water, electric, and sewer and all worked great. We took the tour of the caverns which was excellent and half price for those staying at the park. The cavern tour was excellent and educational and was just the basics, no gimmicky stuff. We hiked the trails and hiked up the the Endless Caverns sign to watch the sunset. If you can hike a good hill, this is a must do! Friday night the park got busier but by 9:30 you couldn't hear a peep anywhere. Nightly rate is an average reflecting one night on Passport America.

The hiking trails are easy we saw lots of wild life (watch out for ticks). Bathrooms are clean and stocked (also laundry). But the best part is sunset from the sign - best view of the Shenandoah Valley! Oh cell signal is also sufficient for working from the road with ‘endless’ video calls.
