Yes this is a beautiful setting. For what they charge vs. amenities you would think they could invest $100 to replace crappy broken down nets just saying. So now we drive into town to play.

Site type: Back-in FHU
Overall: Would absolutely stay here again. Very helpful staff. Good campground wifi and cell/hotspot connectivity with Verizon and AT&T (with Booster-gets us 1 extra bar). We had a large grass site. The pull-through sites were also really nice with lush grass.
THE GOOD
Sites: I really don't think there is a single site I would be upset about here. All spacious and nice grass.
Connectivity: Really strong. Reliable campground wifi.
Groceries and Gas: Within 5 miles.
Spearfish Canyon: Beautiful drive if you have some time and several waterfalls to see.
THE BAD:
Beware around site #20—There is someone that is longer term with aggressive dogs around site #20 (might have been 19 or 21. The owner has the entire living area fenced off with their own black chest high fences and leaves their dogs out for long periods of time.
WORTH NOTING (Not good or bad)
It's right on the main road (not uncommon) so there is some general road noise.

We absolutely loved this resort except for the bathrooms. This resort really should have a 5 -star review, however, the bathrooms were bad. Pretty much the entire 5 weeks we were there. We stayed in campsite 315 from Labor Day 2022 to mid-October. The concrete and paved park makes a difference with less dirt / dust. Tons of really large rigs with tow vehicles had no problems getting in and out and around. The staff was fantastic and accommodating, the pool was beautiful, the location is really great as far as being close to Spearfish for groceries, etc, and close to Deadwood and Black Hills. We had a great time here. Deliveries are accepted. The park is quiet and daily we walked the resort and used the little walking path. We did laundry 2-3 / week and that area was clean. When inquiring about what the deal was with the constant dirty bathrooms the response was simply "short staffed". That was too bad as the rest of it was so great. We have a pep-wave router (we work full time from our rig) and internet was never an issue. Hopefully the bathrooms improve as they are able to hire more employees.

The pool was really nice and it had 2 small hotubs. We wanted to extend our stay but were unable to due to a festival going on in the area. They had 2 shower houses each with laundry rooms attached. Laundry was expensive $3 to wash and $3 to dry, but the rest of the park is amazing. They have a very large dog park and a walking trail. We had plenty of access to the north sky and were able to use our starlink. We will be back

Stayed here for 3 nights back in June 2021 and stayed again for 2 nights in July 2022. Close to deadwood. Campground is huge. Big rig friendly for sure. Great pool, dog park, basketball and tennis courts. Laundry facility is also nice. Decent playground. We have stayed in a pull thru and back in site and both times had plenty of room.

Site was nice and level, concrete pad, 50A / 30A / 20A power, 3 different sewer ports which made it easy to hookup. Water spigots in the pull-through spots are above ground, not insulated or heated, so they froze overnight (to be fair they warned people about this in the welcome packet and advised to fill up your rig's fresh water tank as a backup).
Pretty quite, although right off of highway 85 between I-90 and Deadwood. Again, this was the off-season so the traffic was nominal, but once the weather gets better you'd likely hear motorcycles all day and night as this is near Sturgis and Deadwood, both big time biker destinations.
Park was clean and tidy. Pretty good space between sites with grass and a picnic table.
There were a number of longer term residents here, all in nice 5th wheel rigs, but clearly were workers not hobos.
Would recommend and definitely stay here again.
