No tent camping allowed in this park, only self contained RVs. Park has over 50 sites, with all perimeter sites featuring full hook-ups. Campsites located in the middle of the park offer water and electric only. Many sites offer shade, full or partial, which would be welcome during summer months. The sites are pretty level, huge and many offer a lot of privacy from your neighbor
There is a dump station and park does sell firewood, ice and propane. Two restroom buildings are available, as well as showers and a laundry room. There are walking trails from the campground and many more outside the park. The town of Trout Lake feature a grocery store and gas station if needed. WiFi is available at the pavilion and office. Our Starlink was set up by the meadow and worked perfectly, so we never needed the park wi-fi.
No RV, no worries. Elk Meadows also has 5 cabins for rent in the park.
This park is beautiful and meticulously maintained by the kind owners, John & Kari and their dedicated hosts. We would definitely return.

We come here every year to pick huckleberries in the nearby Sawtooth Berry Fields. This campground is located right on Forest Road 88 leading into the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Price listed above is for a power and water site. There are sites with full hookups we have used on past visits. The campground provides a good mix of forest shade and open sun, with walking paths leading to the adjacent Trout Lake Creek Natural Area Preserve. Amazing views of Mount Adams; some of the sites on the meadow have these views along with views up the Trout Lake Creek drainage into the National Forest. The campground has a couple of restrooms and bathhouses, which I didn’t use due to being in a travel trailer. The office has free WiFi but I could not get cell service or either of my T-Mobile or Verizon phones. A country store a couple of miles back in Trout Lake has anything you might need for food plus some limited camping supplies. This is one of my family’s favorite parks and my only complaint is we did have some low voltage issues that our EMS caught. It was a hot summer day so likely it was caused by all of the camper AC units running at the same time. Not a huge deal as we have run into this at other parks we have stayed at in the summer in the West.

We’ve enjoyed camping at this park since 2014 and have stayed here at least once a year from early in the season to mid summer to mid fall. We’re never disappointed. The sites are all level, many are full hookups with sewer.
There is no AT&T service within the park, but the office has WiFi and a short hike to Lake Rd will get you service.
The sites are clean, private and quiet. The park is well laid out with wide roads... great for backing in to sites.
The hosts are always friendly and accommodating. Wood and ice are available at the office.
There are several nearby hikes, depending on the season.
