I loved camping here. We stayed for a little over a week on the BLM land. The fishing was awesome and the hiking was great!

No good places to get level. No solar. Sheriff on the road but had no interest in helping me find a place to turn around. Tons of long termers here (I am a full timer so I get to make that judgy statement) Nope!!. I went back down to 73 and parked on the other side of the road for the night. Tomorrow, more west. 38ft Georgetown XL and a Jeep toad.

We have a 34' 5th wheel. Main road was fine. All the spots that weren't taken, looked ok but getting in the soil was too wet!. We tried backing in but to no avail. Too heavy. Trailer too heavy. Managed to get unstuck. There were other campers in other spots. Not sure if they were there before the snow fall happened and the dirt was drier. We checked the forecast days prior and saw there was snow one day, rest of forecast looked great. Lots of logging. Cleared areas areas not usable- too many tree stumps. We ended up staying at a campground in town. Didn't bother trying other FR spots mostly likely too wet as well.

BUT… top off your fresh water before getting here. There is none available here, and finding a place to fill in Williams is challenging.
Some occasional cars at night passing on the graded dirt road make for a little noise and light. Find a spot farther off the road to reduce that.

A bit of a hike to get to the lake, but we brought our bikes and it wasn't too bad. 2 year old loved running around and we felt safe. Only complaint is that people drive way too fast on the main road past the campsites.

The area itself is quiet ( really quiet ) Occasional off road vehicles go down the roads. Convenient to the lakes in the area and the fishing was good when we went. No massive fish but plenty of trout for the kids to catch. Watch for fire restrictions as Arizona often has them. Had a great peaceful time. Would go again. Be aware the dirt is this area is like power and makes a total mess and sticks to everything. We had full AT&T service and could work with it.

I like this area just outside Williams.but a lot of the good shaded spot are now gone.As the logging operation has removed a lot of trees.can be dusty if there is no rain.over all big dispersed spots with room in between you and your neighbor.

We were there during the week and it didn't seem that crowded. We have a WeBoost antenna and several back-up options (couple of hotspots, TEP, Visible)... it was a no go. Had to leave. So, if you're checking email, it's probably fine. Beautiful area - great temps in June (cold at night, though), nice little lake to go kayaking or fishing... wish we could have stayed longer.
