Wanderingdawgs gave a great description of the place. This is a beautiful campground with nice level sites and great facilities. The rate we paid was the Sr. rate. Would definitely stay here again

Deerlick Creek Campground is a beautiful Corps of Engineers park located on Holt Lake on the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway in the rolling hills northeast of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The rate shown is with the Senior Pass. We camped here in a 35 foot fifth wheel.
Our site was a paved back in with water and electric. Behind our RV were a few steps up to a patio area with fire ring and picnic table. With trees all around we felt like the only campers there. Our two nights there were quiet and peaceful.
All of the sites are large and some have water views. We made reservations at the last minute and got the only site available big enough for our rig.
The only negative about our stay was getting in and out of our site with our fifth wheel. Site 28 was on a hill in the RBLU loop. I would recommend staying in another site or in one of the other loops if you are in a big rig.
