The road is washboard all the way but wide and an easy (if bumpy) drove for most vehicles. The sites themselves are right off the road and varied, a couple of them are pull-through half moons big enough to accommodate mid-sized rigs—I’d say up to 30’ RVs/trailers. Some have fire rings.
We saw a lot a half dozen sites in all, but did not go down several of the roads into the more backcountry areas. There may be more back there.
You’re surrounded by creosote and salt cedar, barrel cactus and prickly pear. Views are wide open and spectacular. Lots of trails nearby. Amazing geology / formations higher up the pass at and beyond Spirit Mountain.
Decent Verizon LTE and 5G signal (at least 2 bars, sometimes 3) along most of Christmas Tree Pass.
I recommend coming up from the west side/Cal-Nev-Ari as the Laughlin side is longer, windier, and you have to pass quite a bit of territory where no camping is permitted.
Tonya would stay here again

“No spots big enough for anything bigger than a truck camper ”

Definitely not big enough for any large rigs. The road and is very wide however it has been graded to the point that you could not pull off anywhere if you wanted to due to the high banks on each side.
Unless you’re tent camping, don’t waste your time.

There's really only room for one or two tents at this spot, but there's more down the road. Nice distant view of town (Searchlight). No bugs, great stargazing! The road was plenty manageable for a sedan.
If you keep going, you'll understand the namesake. There are probably a hundred trees just decorated with ornaments, garland, family photos, etc. Really cool little place!
Beyond the trees is Lake Mojave. We didn't venture that far, but hope to do so next time.
Best cell signal here was for Cricket Wireless.

There are no sites to camp. Drove back to this point on very bumpy washboard road. As you drive in it says you have to stay on designated roads. The two spots that we saw on this road we're next to trailheads. Very small and nowhere near flat. We did not stay.
