Luckily, when I called Camp Ann Camp Site the owner said they closed the bathroom facilities as of Oct 15, but as long as we were ok using our RV for that he’d let us stay up to Nov 1st. We stayed in site 7 on the lower “big rig” section that offered full hookups. Pretty view overlooking the tidal river. The best part was the camp owner and ALL of his amazing suggestions from getting a 3-4 lb lobster from Roy Moore’s Lobster Shack in Rockport to the Haddock chowder at the Causeway in Gloucester Harbor. Full of knowledge for Boston and surrounding towns. Would highly recommend!

Bath houses are old, cleaned and restocked daily. Toilet stalls are just that, toilet. Same with showers. Hand washing sinks are separate. Reminded me of scout camp many many years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Staff was awesome. The nice ladies in the office gave us a map with 4 sites hi-lited and said go pick the one you want and come back and let us know which one you want. Lots of info about local sites of interest was shared with us. We just felt very welcomed.
Big rig access is in the lower campground area and it is flat but pretty close together.

This campground is getting four stars mostly because I love the surrounding area. It's not a terrible campground by any means, but it has a really strange layout of sites that offer very little in the way of privacy or ease of access. It's also a bit overpriced with a base fee of $32, $8 per night extra for electric, and another $10 extra per night for sewer. That's $50 night for a full hook-up site that will most likely be tucked between a tree and your neighbors slide out.
The good side? The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. We asked for a site that was open so we could use our solar panels (and save $8/night). All of the sites with no hook-ups are fairly shady so they gave us a site with electric but didn't charge us since we didn't need to use it. Very nice. Also, upon check-in we were given the full run down of what to do in the area including where to go to the grocery store and the best place to do laundry.
The very best thing about this park is the location. Only 1 mile from the beach, even closer to a boat launch site, a 10 minute drive to Gloucester, and a 15 minute drive to Rockport. We spent a lot of time in both towns and really love this area.
