If you travel down the road a little further there are two more secluded parking areas, but they weren't as level and we didn't want to bother. (you could definitely level out back there, we were just over it). These back areas are quieter and more private. Further down, the road meets up with the Yakima river and it looked from the map that there was camping space, but we didn't travel down that far. We would have stayed longer but we were on a schedule. Would stop over again.

We had the place to ourselves plenty of firewood lying around to make a good size fire there are black bears around and sightings I was supposed to be quite common if you walk down the road for around 10 minutes you will come across the river it’s definitely worth the walk. There is a gravel road running parallel with the I 90 it is quite busy and you may want to just were everyone is going because we were turned out there or there is a result of calving is located a couple bells down the road and also a fish club

We parked two big rigs (41' 5th-wheel and 36' motorhome) along with three vehicles and a tent comfortably in this shady forest clearing for almost two weeks. The mobile reception was great (Verizon 4G). The road noise from the nearby I-90 was audible, but not disruptive. A well-traveled gravel road runs beside the site (with some trees in between) and dust clouds accompany each passing car. There was a bit of trash around when we arrived, but it didn't take long to clean up (always leave sites better than you found them!)
Dump station and propane fill up can be found 7 miles south on I-90 at Lake Easton State Park and the adjacent commercial RV park.
One night a random car pulled into our campsite at 1am and some people started setting up a tent right next to our rigs. Camping on public land means that people are legally allowed to be rude like that - be warned.

The spot is right on a junction, so you'll get dust from both sides and the cars aren't necessarily going slow. It is a nice big spot though, densely wooded on 2 sides. The summit is just a short 15 min drive with some awesome pizza and beer. You can hear i-5 but it didn't really bother us. Internet was great and you're close to some lakes for swimming.

We found this spot while looking for a place near Kachess Lake. The location is close enough to the lakes in the area and Snoqualmie. Cell service is pretty good thanks to the proximity to I-90, but road noise can be heard. It's also right next to a dirt road that many vehicles drive fast on. That means lots of dust. Cell service is pretty good thanks to the proximity to I-90, but road noise can be heard. It's also right next to a dirt road that many vehicles drive fast on. That means lots of dust. It's one large area with room for 3 rigs if you're friends. If this spot is full, there's an overflow parking area directly north across the road that allows camping during summer.
