Overall Rating
We were passing through Louisville and stayed in the Cabela's parking lot for the night. It's in a campus of retail and medical buildings, including a Lowes, Costco, and restaurants. As others mentioned, they have a section or 1/2 dozen or so spots for RV's & trucks. The spot closest to the dump station was level enough for us. A f... more
We were passing through Louisville and stayed in the Cabela's parking lot for the night. It's in a campus of retail and medical buildings, including a Lowes, Costco, and restaurants. As others mentioned, they have a section or 1/2 dozen or so spots for RV's & trucks. The spot closest to the dump station was level enough for us. A few of the other spots were taken by trucks. We had a quiet nights rest. In the morning I took advantage of the paved walking path that goes around the campus to get a little exercise before we hit the road again. The parking lot is easy in, easy out. We did not use the dump station.

We arrived about an hour before the store closed in the pouring rain. Cabela’s has designated RV and truck parking on the side of their lot. An RV dump station and dog kennels are also available. We arrived about an hour before the store closed in the pouring rain. Cabela’s has designated RV and truck parking on the side of their lot. An RV dump station and dog kennels are also available. The RV spaces were already occupied, so we parked in the end of the front lot and went inside to ask if we were okay there or if we should move. A very polite young guy named Kyle assured us it would be okay. We shopped for a bit and everyone we met was very kind. Such a great place to be. We’re going back in the morning to shop a bit more, as the store was closing soon and we wanted to be respectful of the employee’s time. I highly recommend this spot.
