The view was spectacular with the fall changing colors and the Buffalo river just below add to the great views of Grand Teton peaks.
There are several dispersed campsite if you continue on the paved road we didn’t go there but I think you are down more in the valley rather the higher on site a1.
I have a 36’ pulling a jeep and didn’t unhook and still had plenty of room and great views. A big camper Can came after we set up and was able to stay in the area with the fire ring. In the morning I found that at other 3 vehicles spent the night one regular car. One SUV and one pickup with a shell
So really A1 can accommodate more then a rv .
Best of all Free.

We stayed in site 1 for 7 days and it is posted there is a 14 day max. We were concerned it was one rv per site, but site 1 is so large that one night there were 6 rvs! Everyone was respectful of each other so we didn't mind. Views are beautiful and such easy access as it's pretty much an entirely paved road to get here with exception of the site. We have a 27' Class C rv and no issues, definitely big rig friendly. We saw a lil fox at our site one day so nice to see wildlife. Cons here are no cell service and on warmer days the mosquitos are very real! Plenty of sky view for starlink. Definitely would stay here again.

Easy access to GTNP, quiet, 30’ from main road that has light traffic. Will stay again. There are multiple spots 4 miles down the road that are open. There is a 5 day max stay from Memorial Day to Labor day.

Pulled in with our 36' class A (17 ton) and toad - plenty of room to park head on. Had to disconnect toad to turn around, but not a problem as we were out seeing Teton national park. Nice ride for bike riding, trail along river for mountain biking. 5 different RV's were there the first night and 3 the second - everyone was considerate and quiet - enjoyed meeting and visiting the other folks camping there. Went up to signal mountain in Grand Tetons for cell service (next to the only cell tower in the area most likely) no service with Verizon that we could find.
We will definitely be back

Bear signs everywhere too so we didn’t feel comfortable cooking dinner here. Good luck finding an open spot here!. All campgrounds in the area were full as well and no vacancy at the hotel. Had to go to Jackson to find something. Probably would have been a good spot if there were any open.

We thought we scored big when this site became available. If you are traveling in a group you are allowed more than one RV to a site. This was directly from a ranger. If you are not part of the same group there is only one rv per site in the Blackrock Ranger District. Internet is tough here but can be had with work. ATT was my choice ... more

Internet is tough here but can be had with work. ATT was my choice and the booster again did not work. There is a mountain in the line of site to the tower. With my 2 OTR antennas on the roof connected to my Nighthawk I was able to get usable internet. 1 mbps DL and .5 UL. Another in the group needed to get out the booster with a directional antenna on a 25 foot pole to get connected with Verizon. Don't expect to stream anything here!
Was able to get leveled but with a class A you may have issues depending where in the site you are. It is a large site and this is an issue. It's an issue because all day and into the evening others want to camp there.
The site is directly adjacent to the road so there is a lot of noise from car and truck with horse trailers and boondockers. THat is the big negative of this site.
