We paid $25 to dump and flush at Boulder Creek. This has got to be the most we’ve ever spent on a dump and flush. We usually dump and flush at Arco gas station in Bishop but we would have to back track 40-60 miles. So we thought we’d try Boulder Creek. What a mistake that was. Not only was it very expensive to use their amenities but the girl at the counter was very rude!! I rate this very POOR unless you’re desperate as we were...

Convenient location for exploring the area if you need full hook ups. Check in was friendly and easy. Sites were level and nicely spaced with a good amount of room between rigs for an RV park. Ours had a concrete pad for the picnic table, but most sites were all dirt/sand. There are a few small tent-only spots near the entrance that I would almost guarantee are always available for a last minute stay, but Diaz Lake across the highway is probably a quieter option. Coffee and homemade muffins in the clubhouse each morning was a lovely touch. My daughter had fun visiting the birds and tortoises each day. We spent one day in Alabama Hills and another day driving out to Father Crowley Overlook (Star Wars Canyon). ATT cell reception teetered between 1-2 bars of 4G - good enough for logging into school/video calls when we needed. WiFi wasn’t great, but not a deal breaker for us. Cable hook ups also so-so, but again not a deal breaker.

Things that weren't their fault: we happened to book our stay here in the middle of a heat wave and a record-breaking fire season in California, so we had to deal with high temps and lots of smoke. I've never see the east side of the Sierra this unpleasant this time of year.
One of the staffers told us that new owners took over in April, 2020 (and then couldn't open until June because of Covid-19). I don't know if the new owners upgraded the Internet service, but we had a good signal with about 3MBSec speeds. Not what we get at home, but plenty fast for an RV park.
Surprises: great little store, laundry, clean-looking pool and deck, scattered trees around the sites, friendly staff (from the guy cleaning the pool to the front desk).
The park, though is very good. The pull-through space is big enough, the picnic table is surprisingly good (most I see are garbage), the hook-ups are all in the same spot alongside the site, the site was nearly level, and the trees screen the view of Highway 395
Cons: None really except that we could sometimes hear motorcycles and heavy trucks on 395. Not a lot, but you could hear it once in a while. I would add, though, that site 20 is one of the ones right next to the highway and that others would be quieter. Wi-fi is good, but our Verizon coverage was weak, but in downtown Lone Pine, our coverage was even worse. We had trouble making phone calls.
Overall, a great park and we would definitely stay here again, hopefully without the fire smoke.

We were here in June of 2019. This was our first stop on a summer trip up the 395 from So. Cal to Tahoe. We usually dry camp in state or national parks because we prefer the bigger campsites and more space between sites. But Lone Pine/Alabama Hills in June averages over 90F during the day so we knew we needed full hookups to run the A/C.
For an RV park, Boulder Creek is very good. The sites are compacted dirt and very level with a concrete pad and firepit. The sites are not huge, but definitely bigger than your average RV park so you don't feel like you're sitting under your neighbor's slideout when you sit outside. Water pressure was good, and we had no electrical problems at all, even though everyone was running their A/C during the day and evening.
There's a small pool and hot tub that our teenagers enjoyed. The campstore is very well stocked and they have fresh coffee and muffins every morning. There's also a nice community room with good A/C to escape to if needed. The staff was welcoming and the sites were kept very clean. Our dogs enjoyed the very large dog park, too. The laundry is small, but it worked fine for us. They also have showers and restrooms- those seemed a little older but were clean.
The only negative is that you can't book through their website. You must call them to make a reservation. They are very helpful, but it's annoying that in 2020 I can't just reserve a site online. However, the park is nice enough that we will be returning again on our next trip up the 395.

Checks all the boxes. Friendly staff, clean, sites are large enough, green areas, dog run, convenient location to Lone Pine, Mt. Whitney, hiking. Make sure you check out Alabama Hills Recreation Area, what a surprise!

We made last second reservations with Boulder Creek, and they were accommodating. We changed our minds 2 times re: when we were going to leave, and never made me feel like I’m a nut. Sites are tight & smallest laundry room outside of a home, but it worked. Bathrooms clean.

This place is less than 20 min from Alabama Hills which was great. We were able to go out and explore during the day and then retreat back to the Rv Park in the evening to cool off.
Our ONLY gripe is the cost of the washers and dryers at the Park. One load cost $4.00 and a couple machines were out of order.
We would definitely stop here again.

This was our first RV Park experience and it was a good way to begin. Very friendly, nice size lot, easy pull through and great views of the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains and Mt Whitney.
Only negative was the WiFi was weak, but I hear that's the norm in most RV Parks. Would stay here again.
