Lovely view of Lake Mead, new facilities. Dry camping only. No showers on site. Very pretty and clean, level sites, and convenient to town and Hoover Dam. Liked it so well we are staying the max length of stay allowed. Good cellular data coverage for ATT & Verizon. We work full time so very important!

There are no hose ends for the potable water or the water at the dump station.
We were unable to fill with water or flush out our tanks!
Searching for a place to fill up the tank.

You have to pay 25$ to enter in the recreational area… America the beautiful pass accept. Campground is little bit noisy because a lot of people come here during week-end. Sanitaries have bathroom sink and flush toilets, there are clean. Sites have not a lot of shade, and lack a little of privacy. Try to be there early to have those with the lake view.
The real attraction of this campground is the Mead Lake: you can swim, water is really good and clean. After a hot day, or when you wake up, it's really pleasant! There is a nice beach just down the campground. The mineral landscape is amazing, especially at Sunset.
It's just 45mn from Las Vegas, it can be a good option if you don't want to take an hotel.

Lots of sites at this campground. Noise wasn’t bad at night and we were able to find a somewhat secluded spot showing up after 3pm on a Sat passing through. Worth the extra drive to get away from all the Vegas business. Our 2 year old loved the dinosaur adventure in Boulder City only about 10 min away. There are a few cute things over there, we went to ride out the heat of the day instead of running a generator for AC. The sunset was the best part! Magnificent! Would definitely stay here again. It’s all first come first serve and plenty of spots!

The park has free/open wi-fi through the National Parks Access Broadband. It was strong enough we streamed Netflix and were easily able to upload photos to social media. It is 4/15/19 and clearly it's still within the "spring break" window. Day time is full of families and lots of kids riding bikes, skateboards, etc...it can get a little noisy. By 9pm however everyone was settled for the night and we were easily able to fall asleep with all of the windows open.
The RV Park next door to the campground has full hook-ups but I hear that they charge for a "waters edge" spot...keep in mind the water level is about 1mi away from the edge of those sites.
In addition to the free wifi we had nearly full 4G service on Sprint and Verizon without the use of our Weboost. There is potable water at the very easily accessible dump station.

Great park. Spacious sites and the views are super. Close to Boulder City for shopping and site seeing in old town. Park roads are paved and easy to maneuver even for a big rig. We're in a 39 ft. Class A with toad. Bathrooms are clean and park is well kept. If your passing this way a defendant stop. We will stay here again!!!

We came here after boondocking in the forest near Grand Canyon to be close to Hoover Dam for our next stop on our journey. What a shocker it was to leave such a peaceful place in the woods to arrive at this busy campground with so many small sites packed into it. There is very little privacy or shade here.
We are quiet people an we like to camp near others who are as respectful as we are when it comes to noise. We did our best to select a spot that might allow us some peace. Stayed away from rigs with generators, dogs, and large groups.
So we found our spot. Unfortunately we were surrounded by campfires and we had a serious hard time breathing from all the smoke. That kept us awake, and after 10 pm (the normal quiet hour) we had to go over and ask our neighbor to kindly turn down his home theater surround system. Action movie, of course, and if it was a little loud we could've dealt with it, but it was shaking our windows loud, and my earplugs didn't stand a chance. This was a first for us.
We couldn't wait to leave first thing in the morning.
There was a dump station and potable water. Yay!
