You can tell they are continuously working on improvements. It looks like their most recent addition was the dog park. Sites 1 through 29 are not shaded. Sites 40 through 91 are all well shaded.
Overall we liked this campground. The one downside is we were only able to get the WiFi one day during our stay.

The office staff escorted us to our spot. We only stayed one night so it was an easy on and off to the highway. Each spot had a dump station which was great. The grounds and bath house were spotless. They have a dog park for those traveling with fur friends.

There are train tracks nearby and we heard a train ever few hours but with AC fan running it was no big deal. Will use again on our way to Fl.

The interior roads are a bit tight, but navigable. Our site was fairly level, with just enough room to park our 24-foot TT before the site starting tilting down a bit. Overall, it was quiet, except when the trains went by, which happened frequently. We would stay here again.

Clean park with full hook-ups. Bathrooms very clean. Easy access off highway for stopover. However, there was a fair amount of road noise and a train traffic all night.

If I came back to Birmingham I would look for alternatives.

Wanted something close to Birmingham. Other parks closer to Birmingham were booked. They still had space for Wed - Thurs stay and booked online. I called the day I was arriving to check on a possible late check in. Staff was friendly and courteous. Arrived in the early evening and was directed to my site by the evening manager. Site had water, 30A electric and sewage. I forgot campground had a pool or I would have happily jumped in to escape the heat. Used my AC instead. Large shopping center a few miles away. Easy freeway access to get to all parts Birmingham. There are trains that run nearby but they did not bother me. I would stay here again but would also look at nearby State parks as well.

Maybe I’ve just had bad luck, but each time I’ve stayed has been a bit worse. This time the closest I could get to level, without blocks, was five inches.

Had to cancel 10 days out and they took the entire nights fee. I could see a partial and would have been fine with that. No, they took all of it. Rude people.
