We chose Barefoot Fishing Camp as our shakedown trip with our new camper. What a delightful gem of a campground. Everything worked perfectly. The bathrooms are a little older and in need of some maintenance but very serviceable and kept pretty clean. We will definitely return to stay longer.

The campground offers limited hookup or no hookup at all. It is an older park with good water pressure and stable electrical. There are lots of flies and the restrooms, though kept up, were gross, as in not clean. The campground itself is clean. The restrooms especially the showers, need updating. We camp in a small trailer. Would I recommend this park? Yes. When we return we will have a screened tent to cook and or eat in and bring our own portapotty.

Kayaking was very peaceful and scenery was awesome. Cell service is lacking but we were there to camp not chat on phones so we didn't mind at all. Will be spending a lot more time there.

It's off the beaten path but well worth it. The spaces are grass and the bathroom is disgusting but if you have an RV with a bathroom - who cares! When you get in there's a sketchy looking RV and a sign telling you to fill out a form, put it in the envelope with your payment (cash only) and stick it in the box. The box is that rusty metal thing on the pole :)
Go. Do it. It's so beautiful.
Oh, and the signs say no alcohol so grab a mug.
