I Spent Two Weeks Here! However, Today Phoenix Pd Came By And Ran Everybody Off. They Said It Is No Longer Legal To Dry Camp Within Phoenix City Limits. The Cop Told Me That They’ve Been Trying To Enforce This Policy. However, They Have Been Short Handed And Not Able To..

I was having work done at the Camping World and this campsite is only 6 miles away. The road after the asphalt is really bumpy. I stopped and turned back and camped at the dirt area at the beginning. Big area for rigs and turning around. Close to I17, but noise was minimal. Close to Walmart and gas stations.

Great spot right in the town of Anthem. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Big open area that would accommodate all sizes of rigs. Great spot right in the town of Anthem. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Big open area that would accommodate all sizes of rigs. If you have a smaller rig they're are tons of spots where you can tuck back and be away from everything. The road coming in is a little bit bumpy but nothing crazy, your typical dirt road no massive ruts or anything. Lots of atvs in the area and a few trucks heading down the road. Quick access to the highway. Little bit noisy but overall not bad. The spot does require that you have an AZ state land permit which can be purchased on the az state land website for $10-$20. Camping is allowed for 14 days. Would definetely check out this spot if you're in town. Lots of campers at the Walmart in town makes me think not many people know about this spot.
