We had plenty of space, on a level surface, and a nice grass patch with table and chairs for our use. The whole place is impeccably clean and everyone was very friendly. I loved the bathrooms - individual mini bathrooms all in one with toilet, wash basin and shower. Plus they provide clean bath mats which you use then place in a basket once finished. Such a clever idea. It was very quiet, we felt extremely safe and we would definitely stay here again when passing through the area.

Very pleasant stay West of Boise. Would stay here again if being outside and West of Boise is ok.
If you have dogs and are staying here... worth the 20 min drive to Nampa Dog Park. I'll post of pictures.
One negative, but I have a my own cellular plans to rely on, is the park wifi will cut you off/throttle you at 60 min. Really was troublesome when on video conference calls. So, I stopped using it.
Verizon was good without my antenna's. tmobile was unusable.

We called to see if they had an overnight site as our chosen campground was full. Extremely helpful and pleasant receptionist said of course. We Madea reservation and got directions so we arrived in good time. WOW we were blown away by the cleanliness and amenities. We even had a guide to our site which was truly 5 star service. We have an active dog and he loved the dog park and designated walk areas, but spray for mosquitoes, they were hungry.
The facilities were first class and clean clean clean. Now this is a park with a lot of senior campers but that is part of the charm. They don't usually party to the early hours, o we had a good night's sleep.
This site is on our list for any time we travel to this area be is highly recommended by us.

I must admit, the park is well maintained, but a little cooperation from the staff would have made our stay vastly better...
As soon as we arrived, I knew we'd have trouble with the neighbors. They had grills outside, extra tables, chairs, and everything was as close as they could get it to our site. Sure enough, our first full day there, this old couple was outside at sunrise, dragging chairs around, talking at full volume (well before quiet hours were over), slamming doors and bays. Since my wife and I both work from home, we asked if they could keep it down. They acted like they didn't owe us anything, got slightly more quiet for about 5 minutes, and then went back to their usual volume. They literally sat outside all day, from sun up to sun down, making noise most of that time. They hardly left their site, and spent no time inside their travel trailer until night.
Since they were unwilling to be quiet, we simply asked the people in the office if we could move to another site. They gave us some spiel about how "being outside is encouraged here" and basically told us the neighbor noise was our problem, and they refused to move us to another site, despite quite a few being open. The neighbor noise actually GOT WORSE as the week went on, and the staff refused to help in any way. For that reason, we will never go back.
Furthermore, the rocks they use there are incredibly loud to walk on or drive across, and for that reason, they force you to park very particularly with your steps out over a strip of pavement in between the sites...even if your hookups don't reach from that position!

We stayed here for one night on a drive between Portland and Salt Lake City. We had intended to stay at a state park in Oregon, but decided that we needed a restaurant and more amenities. I was able to call from the road and reserve, pay, etc. When we arrived, after hours, we were greeted by the host, who showed us our site, right up front near the office. The park has a somewhat sterile feeling to it, but not in a bad way. The spaces were fully graveled, which kept things clean. The whole place was clean, convenient. The showers were nice, and the cable and wifi worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

Paved interior roads, gravel, level sites with well kept lawn between & concrete patio, FHU’s, and sites long enough to keep the toad connected. Pool, spa, sauna, small gym, clubhouse, & nice dog runs. Staff is helpful & friendly.

We booked our stay at Ambassador as we worked our way from Arizona to the Pacific Northwest. It was one of the nicest stops we've had in a while - friendly staff and entry escort to our site, making sure our steps lined up over the concrete pad - the little touches. The trailer pads themselves are covered in large river rock - nothing tracks into your rig. The sites are separated by manicured grass strips, and there's plenty of room between rigs.
Walks around the park revealed a number of resident rigs, but the long-term residents are required to keep up clean sites, and all skirts are commercial - no plywood or sheet metal skirts.
The only park amenity we used was the laundry, and it was spotless and well-maintained.
Services are close by, and Highway 26, right outside the park, is a straight shot to downtown Boise.
A park similar to this one anywhere else would be a $50 a night park, at least. This is a place we'd definitely stay at again.

We were greeted by a friendly staff and escorted to our site. This resort is well appointed with cement pads and green grass between each site. The Ambassador Bark Park, an off-leash dog park, was much appreciated by Boonedocker and Piper. The bathrooms are absolutely spotless and each has it's own private shower. Laundry was a super reasonable $1.25 to wash; $1.25 to dry...one of the least expensive we've found. We were not hit by a list of rules when we arrived, and in fact, were given the OK to wash our rig...wow! Trash pick up, curb side. What more could you ask for?? How about the pool at just the right temp and a hot tub after all that work, check!
We highly recommend Ambassador RV Resort if you're heading to Caldwell, Idaho, just a short drive from Boise.
