Right on Flanders Bay just a few miles from the Schoodic Point portion of Acadia National Park and about 45 mins to Bar Harbor. We where in a 30A site with water only. There is a dump station as well as a twice daily pump out service available for $10. Pete and Sue, the owners, are very helpful as well as quite nice folks. There are some rules in place that are enforced (ie: quiet time and no outside lights @ 9:30. Sitting by the campfire and visiting is fine). They work hard to take very good care of the place and it shows. The campground allows children but there really aren't any activities here for them(playground, pool etc).
The views of the bay are plentiful. The site sizes are good. There is an area that currently has ~7 Adirondack chairs to enjoy the water view and do some nature watching (seals, eagles, osprey and other birds were seen) with more in the works (per Sue). Also later this year these 30A sites will be upgraded to include 50A. Some sites already have 50A.
The wifi was excellent as we were able to stream with little buffering most nights and the campground was full most of the time we were there. I did not see the wifi output location during our stay but it worked fine. We watched a football game on our hotspot as the was some buffering at that time.
Great stay and most definitely will be back when in this area again!

First visit to Acadia Seashore Camping and Cabins. When booking the site, it was clear that the owners had rules and the rules were to be followed. The owners were super friendly, rules were to enhance the camping experience (all outside lights, radios, tvs off at 9';30pm) so you can enjoy the peaceful beautiful night sky that was jam packed with stars - georgous. The site was gravel and you were angled in so everyone would have a view of the water from the front portion of the site at least on the sites in this row. If you have a smaller camper and parked next to someone with a large trailer or motorhome you may be very disappointed that your view could be easily blocked. The campground is super neat, clean and well maintained. This site was 30amp and water only which wasn't an issue for us with a inverter that could supplement any energy needs we may have. They do have a honey wagon for $10.00 and will pump you out or you can dump when you leave at the dump station. We had AT&T cellular connectivity for streaming and had Verizon wireless on our cells - no issue with service. We were about 45 mins to 1 hour to bar harbor stores. Hopefully we can return again next year!

The owners are pretty strict so if you can’t remember to turn off your outside light by 9:30p, there will be a knock at your door to make sure it happens. If this kind of thing rankles you, you might skip.
If you appreciate quiet and neat, this is the place for you.
Pretty good internet.

Fairly level sites, spacious, well maintained, good water pressure, lean bathrooms, well laid out. Beautiful view of Cadillac Mountain and the bay. Very friendly and helpful owners. They bought the declining campground and have done an amazing job of fixing it up in the last couple of years. Very quiet and relaxing. One of their rules is exterior lights out at 9:30 so everyone can fully enjoy the night sky and they enforce it. A really nice campground. We have stayed here several times and will again!

Beautiful views and sites are gravel and level. Owners of the park are very helpful and courteous and give you everything you need to enjoy your visit to Acadia National Park. From places to see and eat or do a little shopping. They are consistently working and cleaning to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. We did not have a full hookup, but honey wagon service is available every day and there is a dump station on site. Clean, hot showers and area to wash dishes if you want. Love this place with its views and small trail to the waters edge of Flanders Bay.

Great little place. Site B accommodated a big rig - others looked big rig friendly as well (back-in).
Internet was a bit touch and go (common campsite wi-if), so be sure to have hotspots if you need to work. Verizon and ATT both had great service.
Owner very nice - he helped me with an issue on my rig.

We stayed at Acadia Seashore for 4 weeks -- from mid June 2020 through mid July 2020 and loved it. The campground is on Flander's Bay with a beautiful view of Mount Desert Island. We put our kayaks in the bay right from the campground for some scenic paddling. The campground is a good 30-40 minute ride from Bar Harbor and very close to Schoodic Peninsula. There are 2 country stores near the campground, lots of beautiful towns along the coast, and nearby lakes.
We stayed on roomy site G which worked out perfect for our little barkers. The campground is one of our favorites, satisying our expectations with that extra bonus of camping in a hard to match unique beautiful setting.
In the middle of summer, we didn't use or need A/C once. AT&T cell service was the best we've experienced -- a consistent 5 bars. We could have spent our entire summer here and yes, we plan to return. A heartfelt thanks and shout out to Sue and Peter for their warm and welcoming hospitality! We camped at Acadia Seashore Camping and Cabins (formerly Mountain View Campground) in a Motorhome.

New owners (2018). The grounds are well maintained, strong WIFI, great cell coverage (Verizon,) new power and water pedestals. This was such a relaxing, quiet and peaceful campground we extended our stay. With all that being said the park’s best assets are the owners, Sue and Peter were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality added to the experience. Definitely be back!

Wow! This will be a real gem with such an awesome view and location. There are new owners (who are very friendly) and many improvements are on the way. Closest to the water are tent sites, and RV sites which are 30 amp and water. These sites are pretty close together, short, and un-level. Would love to see these sites upgraded with 50 amp and longer, level sites. The sites nearer to route 1 are longer with decent spacing and are fairly level. Most of these sites have a slice of a water view. Being close to route 1, it is noisy especially during the day but it quiets down significantly at night (at least during the shoulder season). There is no OTA or cable but satellite worked fine in our site( it wouldn’t in most). Verizon was very strong with 4g 5 bars. The campground WII FI was just okay -it either worked or didn’t. The main downside is the dust from the dirt roads. Our toad was dirty from top to bottom just from people driving by. I hate speed bumps but they would be handy because despite posted signs to drive slowly most people don’t. The water supply here is great – hair feels good, water tastes good, and washes off cleanly. You will witness some beautiful sunsets. There is a path down to the water where you can walk around on rocks and perhaps see seals chasing their dinner. Seafood markets abound here and everything we bought was fresh and delicious. It’s only 10 miles to the Schoodic part of Acadia. We spent a lot of time at this special place and it is soooo much quieter than Mount Desert in Bar Harbor. We did visit Mount Desert a couple of times and it takes 45-60 minutes to get there depending on traffic. We fell in love a little bit with this area, so we will definitely return!
