This is a small, motor-court type RV park with 4 or 5 slots available. The sites were clean and adequately sized. Hosts were welcoming, friendly, and responsive. The beach is a short walk away. If you are looking for a small, relatively quiet, family-oriented RV park near the beach, this is a great choice.

We stayed here for 4 nights while we took in spring migration at High Island. It was QUIET, off the highway, blocks from the beach and 20-30 minutes from birding. Hosts Debbie and Kurt are excellent people, providing complimentary s’mores and company when desired. We hung out and fed turtles on the dock with them. Highly recommend this... more

Our stay here was amazing!! The grounds were very clean. Close to the beach and other activities. Great place to stay. Will be staying here again!!
Owners were very nice and helpful. Our camper is 38 ft and had plenty of room.

The hosts Debbie and Kurt were very hospitable and even provided us a welcome gift food package . We took advantage of its location by going to Gavelston with the free ferry . It's small and quait, located on a waterway with deck and chairs, and walking distance to the beach. Debbie and her husband were very nice!! We are already planning our second trip.

We recently stayed at A SHORE VENTURE in Crystal Beach TX.
The accommodations were lovely, landscaped to allow privacy & comfort. It was amazingly quiet, just what we wanted.
We’ve stayed at rv parks across several states, as well as here in TX. This park was small and the owners went out of their way to welcome us, pointing our local attractions, restaurants, local history & even pointed out local church activities that would welcome us.
Reservations were quick & simple. Nothing hidden in the process.
Unfortunately, our stay mostly consisted of spending time with our grown kids & their families a few miles down the beach; so our time at this park was strictly “quiet time to get a grandparents break from the chaos. The rains (hallelujah it rained) prevented us from using all the amenities provided
The experience was great, & we will be coming back in the future. It suits our needs perfectly!
Booking with Kurt & Debbie was such a pleasant experience. The S’mores were such a beautiful gift for us to enjoy.
