Arrived early evening on a Saturday. The 3,350' elevation produced a noticeable difference in temperature and humidity from Dallas.
There was one other RV present when we arrived, and I think he was taking advantage of the municipal golf course adjacent to the park.
There are five or six spots. The first two power poles I checked showed open ground on their 30 amp plug... but we eventually found one that worked for us. There were also some 50 amp available as well.
We really like the park, pond, and tall shade trees. This place is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. We would definitely stop here again! Thank you Yoakum County!

Stayed here for a night and really enjoyed the ducks. They are quite friendly and will not hesitate to come right on up to you. Bathrooms were closed due to COVID. Nice and quiet, even being next to the highway.

The dogs from last night was a white bull dog type & another large dog, cream color with feathering on his tail. They attacked as we walked out the door like a pack. So my advice is to be careful at night.
Noise is just road traffic.

A very clean, nice park , about 6 miles north of Denver City. FREE water and electricity, 20, 30 & 50 amps available. We didn't use the water since we had plenty in reserve, but when opening the lid to the underground spigot, there was a black widow spider lurking. She ain't no more. The park was close to the highway, but quiet. No noise bothered us. There were some early morning golfers coming in for the adjacent golf course, but again, fairly quiet.
We did not check out the restrooms.

There is some road noise and early morning traffic from the golfers [golf course on property] that drives right by you. Another thing is the smell from the nearby oil derricks. We only smelled it when outside.
I was really impressed that this county offered partial hook ups for free. Please respect this location so it does not ho away.

There was a birthday party going on when we first arrived later Sunday afternoon but after that we were the only ones there until morning when park workers began working. They were kind and showed us the open restrooms. Dog friendly! Would stay again!

Very shitty- literally.

This is a free site. It’s a county facility that is really nice. Free water and electric. The sites are more of a pull off area against a guard rail. But it’s a nice area to bed down for the night.
