On the down side, the water has much sediment. We needed a better filter. The bath house is old and in need of a deep...
"Excellent campground and spectacular river setting"
Pros: Super friendly staff, clean facilities and grounds. Cute little river access and easy proximity to Leavenworth.
Cons: as with many spectacular waterfront campgrounds, you are cheek-to-cheek with fellow campers on waterfront sites. Limited AT&T and T-Mobile data/cell service.
We would definitely camp here again.
Quiet out of the way campground on the Ohio 30' from the water. Well worth the extra 20 minutes from the Interstate. Privately owned small place but well maintained. Located on the Ohio flood plane. Good H2O pressure, 3 bars Verizon cell service, great air TV from Memphis but no cable. Clean park but a little dusty. Friendly and capable staff. We didn’t use bath...
"Beautiful lay out on the shore of a TVA reservoir "
Large sites on a peninsula projecting into a TVA reservoir. Quiet and sunny. Check your circuit breakers, we found ours 30 amp breaker wired for 20 amp.
