Arrived early enough to get a prime spot under a cottonwood and by the river. By dark about 6 other vehicles showed up. The park staff were very helpful getting potable water

"No frills "

An unusual campground. Most sites are back in into the hillside. Mostly level. Reported to have a dump station, could not find it. Non potable water not on.

"Sites Too Close Together "

This campground has full sun, utilities, playground and bathhouse. Everything an urban park would have. The sites are too close for our taste

"Easy Layover "

Hassle free layover. It is close to I-80. The noise was manageable. We set up on the east side of the lake under a Cottonwood tree. Better than a Walmart.

Quiet remote campground about a mile off pavement. Sites level. Plenty of sun for solar. Water and 30 amp available April through October.

"Favorite COE Campground So Far"

This island campground is spacious and very clean. We had a lakefront pull through with only one neighboring site. Very private for being in the open. The gate house was unmanned and the camp host did not “check” us in into our last evening.... Read more

This campground is convenient to Bathhouse Row and about an hour from Little Rock. Our sit was close to Gulpha Park Road. Very noisy during the day, a little less at night. Sites are close. Our site is the most private of all of them No entrance... Read more

"Nice COE Campground"

Stayed here 1 night in route to Hot Springs. We also had enough time to visit Fort Smith National Historical Site. Sites were spacious and clean. Our site level with minor corrections. Did not use the bathhouse.
