We truly enjoyed our visit here. We were not visiting to see the commercial side of Branson, rather the outdoor beauty. We had made reservations online. Arrived around 8 pm and the office was still open, you will need to check-in with the park. We stayed in campground #2. There is a lovely paved trail around the lake that goes by some beautiful picnic areas and continues to a visitor center. The path goes 2.2 miles each way and is great for pedestrians and bikers. The marina is lovely, though you cannot swim around the marina. Note that there was a severe storm while we are here. The marina is currently closed due to damages. I had initially been disappointed that we did not have trees in our campsite...however, after this severe storm, I was grateful. Many trees fell in the storm and one fell on our neighbors fifth wheel. Thankfully no tragic damage. There is a small laundry room at campground 2, as well as bathrooms and showers. We had a nice concrete pad, lantern hook, fire pit and full hook-ups. Very close to Branson and College of the Ozarks. We heard their restaurant at the college was amazing, but did not get to try it. I suggest keeping the emergency info map they give you at check-in...it was very useful during the storm and power outage. There is plenty of availability in April.

This MO State Park has two campgrounds. We stayed in Campground #2, which had some FHU sites, some electric only and some basic. The state marina was a short walk away (1/4 mile?) and had a store with camping supplies/ice/snacks/etc. The marina also rented several different sized motor boats, canoes and kayaks. The FHU site we occupied was concrete and had 50A service. Note that check in upon arrival at some other MO State Parks was completed by Camp Hosts. At Table Rock, which is larger than most, check in is performed at the office. We were able to get some OTA television channels and a cell signal.
