Cream Ridge Camping

In Cream Ridge, Timberland Lake Campground is an option for those looking for camping near Six Flags Great Adventure. "Sites were fairly small and packed in close to one another, but there were at least a few trees between each of them to serve as a divider," according to Campendium reviewer MacRodge.

Northern New Jersey Camping

Kymer's Camping Resort in northern New Jersey offers RV sites with picnic tables and a large swimming pool. "Good sites. Some are rather tight to fit into at times. Fairly hilly but most roadways are paved," according to Campendium reviewer Scottydoesntknow.

We visited during Christmas. Expensive parking lot with electricity, not water at all on the sites. Bathrooms are disgusting. Nobody cleaned the bathroom for 3 consecutive days. The WiFi signal very poor. Never again

"Not Worth The Price"

Pros: friendly, helpful staff. Easy access from the interstate. Clean restrooms. Cons: narrow sites with very little distance to neighbors. Sites are gravel but also somewhat muddy and especially muddy at the margins. Restrooms, while clean, are worn and tired.

"Great Time!"

active staractive staractive staractive starinactive star
We had a wonderful time on our "last trip of the year". The park was very quiet and still had lots of campers there. The lake looked like a lot of fun, had it been warmer! The Wi-Fi was ok; however, we could not use our firestick to watch tv at night! (the only down-side). On the whole, we will be back next season!

"Power Problems "

Owner is extremely rude. Power at site kept surging tripping our breakers. Owner wanted us to override surge protector in our trailer. She then refused to provide us somewhere to stay and charged us a $1250 cancellation fee.
