Duck Creek RV Resort is a family oriented upscale RV campground located across the street from Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park! Therefore, the majority of campers in this campground are families with children. The list of the offered amenities there is really impressive, but the campground is very big and spacious and green, so it doesnt feel crowded or loud. They have even their own private little lake with a walk path perfect for dog walks. In our back-in site we felt very private and comfortable and even secluded. Great campground. We liked and enjoyed our campground very much. The only downside was the absence of good restaurants in close proximity. The only available option nearby was a local bike pub. For a fine dining you have to drive 20-25 minutes to the nearest towns Muskegon or Whitehall. We have a detailed video about this campground on our YouTube channel - Summertime RV Rovers - West Michigan Lakeshore RV Trip. Part 3. Muskegon - Duck Creek RV Resort. We camped at Duck Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here to visit Michigan's Adventure amusement park so the location was perfect. We had site 9 which was very nice and spacious. They are very strict on the check in time. We came from another campground a couple of hours away where we had to check out at 11am, and it just didn't take us as long to get to Duck Creek as we needed it to. So we had to sit in the parking lot until check-in time. It would be nice if they would show a little grace in that area. One thing we found very disappointing is that after 9pm no kids are allowed in the pool and hot tub. Our kids are older teens (17 & 15 at the time we were there), and after being at the park all day we looked forward to relaxing in the pool & hot tub. Once we got there around 8:45pm it was jammed with adults and little kids so we waited in some chairs until it cleared out a little. It did clear out at exactly 9pm due to the "no kids" rule, which we were unaware of. So we were thankful that some room finally opened up in the hot tub for us, only to be kicked out minutes later since we had teens with us. That was so disappointing! When are the families with older kids supposed to use the pool if it's jammed prior to 9pm with little kids and we're not allowed to use it after 9pm? Verizon and AT&T were super slow, barely usable while we were there. T-Mobile worked pretty well though.

There is a long rail trail just outside of the park with a sidewalk to access. You can also walk across the street to the amusement park/waterpark which is nice!
The sites are decently spaced from each other and all have concrete pads and patios with plenty of length for parking your towed or tow vehicle. They are all 20A/30A/50A, water, and sewer. Trash is picked up at your site from 8am-9pm.
This resort is pricey, butt extremely well run and maintained and everything is new (no old arcade games or flat tired bikes here!)
It's a quiet park minus the frequent squeals and laughter of children and the distant rumble of the wooden roller coaster across the street.
We were able to get a great Starlink from our site. after the park kindly moved us from a site abutting the tree line.

Good hook-ups. Great staff. Beautiful park and well maintained. And lots of things to do: swimming pool/hot tub, nice laundry facility, arcade, tennis and basketball courts, small lake with paddle boards and small boats, walking trails, and a concession stand that serves pizza and more. So much for families to do and family friendly. Across the street is Michigan Adventures, a theme park. Lots of large trees surround the park to help minimize outside noise so nice and quiet. Back in sites that even us newbies can do :-). The interior roads are decent, not real wide but doable for backing in, the sites are angled and offset, allowing you some room.

Great park, no dust because of all cement sites and grass. Roads paved also. Lots of actives for adults and kids. Mini golf, pond to walk around and swim or fish or rent small craft. Not for you if you just want a small quiet camp. Large camp.

The first several nights of our extended stay for July 4th we found our site was too sunny (hottest wknd of the year). We asked to switch sites facing the opposite direction. They did not hesitate to accommodate us and make the most out of our stay! The roads are even and paved so that allowed my 3yr old to ride her bike with ease. Our nightly ritual was to ride bikes around the campground, lake and stop at the “Relaxation Dock”! What a cool place and family friendly!
