We were exited to stay here based on reviews and photos. Planned on 3 nights to explore Quincy and Hannibal areas. This is an old KOA. Concrete pads were nice but narrow. Wifi was ok dropped often. Cell service on Verizon was not good. We were in a row mostly with it appeared with folks living there. The site next to us is literally ... more
We were exited to stay here based on reviews and photos. Planned on 3 nights to explore Quincy and Hannibal areas. This is an old KOA. Concrete pads were nice but narrow. Wifi was ok dropped often. Cell service on Verizon was not good. We were in a row mostly with it appeared with folks living there. The site next to us is literally outside our slide. They parked under our slide out! The next spot down (15' away) their dog was barking until they came home. There is no room between sites. Beware! We decided to leave the next morning, definitely not for us!

Reservations were easy through the Campendium/Campspot site. All communication was done through text/email so I drove right to my site. This is a former KOA. Reservations were easy through the Campendium/Campspot site. All communication was done through text/email so I drove right to my site. This is a former KOA. Although it is aging I think it still fits the KOA mold. The sites are level gravel or paved. Our back in site was actually easy to drive through. There are play areas for kids and a swimming pool (in season). The camp overlooks the Mississippi River and has easy access to a riverside park. Wi-Fi was too weak to use but AT&T can stream (with stutters) with 2 bars LTE. Every site has a picnic table and fire ring. Antenna gets all networks. The camp is close to Hannibal MO but was just a stopover for us. Good value.

Denise is super nice. We pass through a couple of times a year to visit family in Quincy and our stay there has always been great.

Very nice. Quiet, off the main road. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. All spots have very nice concrete pads. The owner was extremely accomadating and personable. On the banks of the Mississippi in historic Quincy.
