Every loop and every site within the park looked to be great. The campground is huge, we took long walks every morning and saw much of the park and it all looked spectacular. We loved all the big trees and it truly does feel like a wilderness. So much so that we saw numerous deer and wild turkeys on our walks.
The facilities (bathrooms, showers) were very up-to-date and clean.
The accessibility to get to the different parks via the boats was great.
We appreciated the lengths that Disney has gone to keep all of their guests COVID safe.
The site was level and utilities were easy to access. The roads are somewhat narrow, but backing in was acceptable. There is lots of privacy between sites.
Check-in process was easy, however, they give you a lot of verbal information at the gate which I would have appreciated in writing somewhere that I could reference later as it was a lot of helpful information.
We had a great stay and would look forward to another visit!

Arrival was painless, the site was clean and had been prepped for us. Water and power were both good. The shower house bathroom was always clean and stock, the shower had plenty of hot water and was clean.
The issues that make me unsure if it is a good experience or not.
the other campers......wow so inconsiderate of other guest. Loud music, unsupervised kids, Huge mounds of trash.
Trash can was set on fire a couple of time because people were dumping their fire pit into it.
The golf carts, the endless parade of golf carts going round and round.
the campsites with half a dozen tents and 30 campers with associated kids, bikes cars, toys
The pool, tough to relax with 20 kids playing tag in the entire pool area, not to mention jumping and playing in the hot tub.
The Food, we ordered some ribs and fried chicken only to wake up with food poisoning, so we were violently ill for a day and a half.
The site was nice, the campground was well maintained as was the pool and walkways.
Then the value for dollars paid. Really hard to justify spending $150 per night for a water and electric only site. Just not worth it.

The sites are very large and it was easy to back in. It is Disney clean and their rules are strict. The dog park near loop 500 is massive and our German Shepard loved it. We used the pool with water slide and it was fun. The pizza there was very tasty. I didn't realize you need to bring decorations!! Wow they are getting ready for Christmas! Folks get serious about decorating their sites and it was a lot of fun seeing the creativity. I did not use any 'Comfort Stations"- bathrooms but I am sure they are very clean. I want to come here again closer to Christmas to see it all lit up!!

The pools were wonderful. Nice and warm and great slides/etc. for kids.
The staff was very helpful and attentive.
The only problems I had was with transportation around the resort. We couldn’t get a golf cart our first night there because they were sold out. We decided to use our tow vehicle to try to go to the pool. There is absolutely no vehicle parking almost anywhere in the resort. With 3 small kids, it made getting to the pool an unpleasant experience. But once we got the golf cart, it worked great. I would definitely secure a golf cart rental for our entire stay next time.

Sites nice, lots of space, full hookup, level, nice bathrooms - it's Disney, you pay for it, but for the money they do it right.
Public transport around the park exceptional. Great walking and bike paths too.
Best bit - no extra charge if you also use a tent - made the stay much more comfortable for everyone to have one person out of the smaller space :D.
Again - it's Disney, yes, you pay for it, but at least they do it right. i've paid this much elsewhere and got no where near as good service.

We were upgraded to a Premium Meadow site near the pool and it was awesome! Though an 80 foot deep site with a 22 foot trailer was strange because the power was at the back and the water was at the front. My neighbor had to buy a new hose to reach. Sites are clean and level.
Buses run all over the camp ground and you can easily get around. However a bike (or golf cart) is probably quicker. It was a mile from my site to the front desk. Boat runs directly to the Magic Kingdom/Monorail from the north end of the grounds. All other parks are accessed by bus from the south end of the grounds.
Staff is super friendly and security would stop and tell me jokes while I was walking the dog.
The pool has a slide for the kids or there is a quiet pool near the cabins.

Wonderful transportation to parks, shopping, and other resorts. Brand new horse stable too!
Bathhouses are nicer than most people’s home bathrooms. Laundry is affordable and machines are clean and plentiful.

“The Fort” is best described as having the atmosphere of a state park and the amenities of a Disney resort. There is forest, wildlife, hiking, biking, fishing, campfires, sing-a-longs… and S’MORES, but there are also modern facilities, shops, restaurants, entertainment, and more (did we mention S’MORES?!?!). You can rent golf carts, and fishing or pontoon boats. Or if you can let someone else do the driving and charter a fishing trip or take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the resort! And since all of this is located within the Walt Disney World Resort complex, you get free transportation to all of the parks and Disney Springs, access to Extra Magic Hours, and all the other Disney perks of staying on-property.
Pro tips:
▪ All of these sites are back-in. Generally, there is sufficient room to get in and out of your site, but it can occasionally be a challenge for longer rigs or at Halloween and Christmas due to camper decorations.
▪ Book EARLY, especially for holidays or Disney special events.
▪ Watch the Electrical Water Pageant and the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach.
▪ Take the boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.
▪ If it’s your first trip, DON’T use online check-in. Check-in at the gate so you get all the maps, guides, activity schedules, and the whole check-in experience.
Pros:
▪ It’s Walt Disney World!
▪ Level, Paved sites
▪ Forest setting with resort amenities
▪ Lots of scheduled activities (some free, some paid)
▪ Plenty of room to roam (trails, walking paths, beach area, etc)
▪ Pet friendly
-
Cons:
▪ Cost
▪ Usually crowded, especially during holidays and events
▪ Difficult to make a reservation at peak times
