"Quiet on remote dirt road"

The road in is single track dirt road along step ditch... You better hope you don't meet a big rig coming out or one of you is going to have to back up. Cost was over $60 for small trailer one night.. lots of birds calling.

Very quiet and basic rv park. No bathroom facilities. Lot is gravel and flat. Sites have electric, water, and sewage. We had full cell phone signal ( T Mobile). The owner, Chris, was very friendly. We were visiting family that lives 5 minutes away, so it was perfect for us. Cost is $100 for 3 day minimum, and $25 per day after (...

"Short -Term Site"

We found the campground adequate for a one-night stay with its easy access to I-81. Our site, No. 43, was a basic, no frills, open pull-through with little distance between the adjoining neighbors, a long distance from the rest rooms/showers and dumpster, and close to a busy highway. With discounts, we were charged $47, which seemed a bit high...

"Nice Place On The Ohio River!"

active staractive staractive staractive staractive star
I checked out every private campground in the WV Panhandle and Edgewater is by far the nicest one I found. My campsite was right on the Ohio River. There is a train track along the river but I rarely saw a train. Nice place, and the owners are wonderful!
