Carolina Beach State Park is the perfect destination if you want to experience the coast. This park has 69 camping sites with limited facilities. "Beautiful Small Campground "

I’ve had this CG show up in my searches and finally decided to visit. There are 17 sites, 5 walk in tent sites, the rest are typical FS camp sites suitable for rvs and/or tents. No hookups but flush toilets and hot showers. The elevation is only 1500 feet or so which means things get pretty hot during the summer. I was there mid May ...

"Nice park, tight sites."

Getting here was easy. Check in at the park office. The two RV areas are vastly different. Loop B is in the woods and pretty close to trees and somewhat in level. Loop C is flat with no shade. I wouldn't put a class A in loop B. In loop B, the water spigots are not necessarily near the power. And you share the water spigot with your...

The bathrooms are very nice. The lots are huge. Very peaceful and relaxing Only two negatives. 1.You can't really see the cliffs since the view is from on top of them. 2. T-Mobile service was.poor.

"Good site for accessing the beach"

It was easy to find and get to our site(B36). We were surprised to find that the site had water as well as electric. Like other reviewers have said, the dump station is across the highway and getting to it requires you to pay attention and follow the signs. It's about as far from the entrance as possible. Would definitely recommend.

"Expensive, but close to the beach"

active staractive staractive staractive starinactive star
Stayed here for the second time last week. The red section is close to the beach so the price reflects this. Check-in was smooth, staff is friendly and helpful, and will lead you to your site. Nice, clean facilities, but hot water was out at the red bathhouse during our stay (which meant either a cold shower or a walk to the blue bathhouse; did...
