This area serves as a basecamp for those who plan to hike Mt. Borah. This is a first come, first served campground. Fee envelopes and a collection box are provided near the entrance. Please bring cash.

4 mile drive in off the 93 highway on decent gravel with some washboard but not bad.5 sites first come no reservations.This site is at the start of the climb to the summit of Mt.Borah the highest peak in Idaho at 12660.No water or trash pack it in pack it out.There is a clean forest service issue vault toilet.
