We really like Toad River and have stayed here several times. The sites are level gravel and neat and clean. The full hook ups in the pull throughs are in good locations. The WiFi works great! The restaurant serves huge portions for dinners! Walk around the “lake” and enjoy the view and the many birds. The only negative thing I can say is that...
Mostly filled with full timers. The park is very junky and run down. Sites are gravel and mostly level. Pull throughs had full hookups, but you gotta dig in a wooden box for the water. WiFi was essentially useless and after it gets so much use, they shut it off, which happens pretty quickly. (Which they do tell you ahead of time, that it’ll...
Very muddy and the pull through sites aren’t very level. Too early in the season for water, but we had 30 amps and we were able to dump. You hear a little noise from the highway, it’s not bad. WiFi barely worked for email or text. So, if you need to stop in this area, this park is ok, but otherwise I’d recommend just keep moving on. One ,one...
Yes, you go through an industrial section of town to get to the park, but once you get here it’s an oasis right next to the river. WiFi at our site worked great. Bathhouse was clean and modern. Lots of hot water. Staff was super friendly. Our pull through site had FHU’s which were conveniently located. There are some people camped here long...
"Nice, Level Site. Very Easy In & Out. Friendly Staff - Good Restaurant, Gas and Propane Available"
Stayed here on 4/6/2024. Great campsite for a one night layover. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the Site was level, had 30 amp service and a working sewer dump. Water was still off due to winter temps. Easy pull through site with roomy open play area. I would stay here again.
